My sensibilities, aesthethic, morals, well, pretty much everything about me is more akin to the 19th century than the here and now. That doesn't mean I see the past through rose-tinted spectacles but I find endless inspiration and joy in it.
My sartorial tastes and requirements revolve around the 1940's and 1950's, but I love almost all styles from the Middle Ages right through to the early 1960's, and I like to pick elements of different decades and add them to my look. I am also a keen Hunter & Gatherer of all things beautiful, whimsical, magical, useful and useless. I find endless pleasure in seeking out treasures, big and small, that make life more gratifying and appealing.
It is my hope, that my scribbles, photographs, stitchings and what not, will be enjoyable and in some way inspiring to you.
